SAMSUNG - SMART THINGS

We were invited to reimagine the familiar idea of smart home control. Not as a feature list, but as a feeling, as an audio-visual experience. In collaboration with Koshta.collective, BEAM Studio, INNIT2K, and soundscape by Alexandr Paperny, we created an animated trace, reimagining SmartThings as more than a simple app. This wasn’t selling a product, it was an art experiment. We inhabited moodboards, sketches, tests, and R&D until the form emerged. That trace, born of light and motion, later found its place in a curated space, exhibited at a fair showcasing smart home innovation.

Samsung reached out with a challenge - to show how Smart Things seamlessly connects the objects of a home into a living, breathing ecosystem.

Not as a product demo or a mere CGI commercial, but as an allegory, an artistic exploration.

Together with Koshta.collective who blur the line between the analog and the digital - we set out to create something that would live both as art and as brand storytelling, alongside BEAM Studio and INNIT2K.

The concept became a magical trace - a glowing thread moving through space, binding objects, light, and air into one continuous movement, echoing how SmartThings connects every piece of the home.
